General Requirements
Renewal cycles are every 2 years. IITAP does not accept CEs from any other organization or training. The only trainings eligible for renewal CEs will be found on the IITAP website: https://iitap.com/events/
- For clinical certifications, including associate certifications, (ASAT/CSAT, ACBRT/CCBRT, APTT/CPTT, and Supervisors) 15 IITAP CEs are required for renewal.
- CSAT Supervisors (and CPTT Supervisors) are required to have 6 of the 15 credits designated as Supervisor-specific credits.
- PSAPs are required to have 12 IITAP CEs for renewal.
- RACS are required to have 3 RACS-specific CEs for renewal.
- There are no additional renewal requirements for CMATs or PMAPs. These certifications renew with the individual's CSAT or PSAP certification.
NOTE: Failure to complete all renewal requirements by the expiration date will result in certification suspension. Suspended members are not eligible for certification benefits, including use of their IITAP certification designation.
