Who Can Apply?
Clinical Certifications (CSAT, CPTT, CCBRT, or TCAS)
This track is for current clinical mental health counselors, therapists, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, or graduate students working toward a mental health degree and licensure. Therapist, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Social Worker, Counselor holding a state license Graduate Student working toward mental health degree and licensure
Pastoral Professional (Non-Clinical)
Pastors, Rabbis, or Priests holding a Master of Divinity degree and working in a faith-based Organization Ministry worker lay pastor, elder, or deacon Para-ministry Professionals, small group leaders, counseling/care ministry professionals (non-clinical)
Do you currently have an IITAP Certification?
If you currently have an IITAP Certification, where there has been a background check done, you do not need to apply. You can go directly to Module 1 for the program you want to take and register there. If you have any questions, please contact training@iitap.com
How to apply:
Please have the following with you, on your computer in digital format, prior to applying with us:
- Professional License (unless graduated student)
- Degree or Transcript
- Resume
- Social Security number and birthday date for background check ($50.00). If you are a U.S. Citizen and not licensed, you will receive an email from a third party to complete your background check.
- Please visit https://iitap.com and look for the "Haven't Registered Yet?" link under the Sign In option.
- You will need to choose CSAT, CPTT, or PSAP Applicant in order to register for our Mod Trainings. Choosing Non-IITAP member will allow you to view some events, but not register for all of them. (**Please note if you've created an account under Non-IITAP member, you will have to contact support@iitap.com to start the process over**)
- Choose a username, then list your First and Last name in the appropriate fields. Click Continue.
- There is a $50 application fee for running a background check. You must accept this to continue.
- Please pay attention to the fields, as you will need to fill in all of them marked with a " * ".
Your SSN is required to run a background check. (see screenshot)
- You will fill out the profile information accordingly and upload your documents necessary for the application (see list at the top)
- In the upload field, you will see an Upload button. Once you upload a document and save to your application, the field will then say Download / Delete (see screenshots. Green is a document that has been uploaded. Red is showing where a document CAN BE uploaded)
- Click Continue. You will then be taken to the payment screen.
- Under Member Information there is an option to keep your Billing information the same as your PROFESSIONAL address entered into your profile.
If this is not the same, please enter correct Billing Information for your Credit Card.
**Please note the Expiration Date will have to be entered MM / YYYY in order to process**
Enter your payment information and click Submit Securely. - We will receive your application and process the background check. You will hear from an IITAP Staff member within 10-14 business days with instructions on how to log in and register for upcoming events.
